Well here’s my model of a barrel…but… When in edit mode it’s standing mid air, and when it’s in game it’s forced ont the floor :mad: I cant make it phsyched!!! And not to mention, the faces wont respond to physics
Hey, James!
I tried it, and found it had to do with the mesh. I added a seperate object, switched it’s mesh to that of the barrel, and it did the same thing.
I quickly remade it and had no problems. Oh, and I’d make it 8 or 12 vertices around. It’s more symetrical.
Good luck!
reinds me of the punchline of a joke…
Employer “you can use the barrel everyday except wendsdays”
employee “Why? what is wrong with wendsdays?”
Employer “because, wendsday is your day in the barrel”
{drumroll}
I’ve checked, all faces on barrel are seted to shadow, verify it on UV Face Mode>Editing(F9)>Texture face>unmark shadow button and try again…Sorry my poor English I’m Brazilian…Good Luck.
Thank you Estefane
p00f, is that an Hawaiin joke…???
Why does the shadow option disable physics partially? It doesn’t make any sense?
The “shadow” option makes the object behave like a shadow (it is always on the ground then). I’ll show you an example in a bit.
Thanks mate
Here is an example of the purpose of the shadow function.
