Base colour removal

Ive made an image with an alpha channel, Loaded it to an object, set the USE ALPHA on and can see the channel works in the window.

Unfortunatly the base color of the material comes through when I render. Ive tried the Ztransp button but it does nothing. I change fresnal but that changes both image and color transparency. I need the image unaltered.

I had the same Problem once.

If you forgot what i had forgoten then the Solution is very simple.
Under the Materials Color Sliders is a Slider labeld A.
For full use of the Alpha Channel set it to zero!
