Basic 2.53 Interface Questions

I’m a veteran of Blender 2.23 to 2.49b, but I’ve been having a lot of trouble wrapping my head around some of the interface changes, as unfortunately, I have not had the time that I had when I was younger to watch tutorials. So this is one of the questions I have:

  1. So, call me old fashioned. I like the buttons panels on the bottom instead of the side. If I do this, I end up with some of the properties below the bottom of the panel, and for the life of me I can’t scroll down to them in any way. Whether using the middle mouse button to click, or roll, and there are no vertical scroll bars. Is this something that has a new way that I’m just going to have to deal with?

Yeah that’s really annoying me too.
Hey, you found a good use for that empty space on the left finally! :stuck_out_tongue:

Forget about horizontal properties menu, it’s simply not designed for it. The little efforts to make it work are just not enough.
It either needs a big change or they should get rid of it completely

Thanks guys. Regardless of whether or not it’s more efficient to do a vertical control panel, I’M STUBBORN DAMMIT! Just let me scroll the window up and down, why not allow that?

I also have a quick little question thats completely unrelated, but dont want to start a new post. I’ve been using a vertical menu so I have no problem with it…

Wheres the Dupliverts option? Im trying to make some stitching for clothing, and am using a line mesh object with lots of vertices shrinkwrapped to the clothing, so that the small Stitch object will be dupliverted and save me a lot of time. The only problem is that I can’t find the duplivert option.
