Basic Object Question

Hello,
I appreciate all of the knowledge offered here. Here is my problem. I created a scene by using an image of a logo as a background, tracing with bezier curves then extruding and beveling. No problems there. I then created a mesh cube then scaled it to be more like a large, thin “billboard”.
I then added two mesh cubes then scaled them to be long, skinny “sign posts” so to speak. Heres where I’m not sure what to do.
I want the logo to be “attached” to the large rectangle, like letters on a sign. And I want the sign posts to be attached to the back of the billboard. What I did, since I don’t know what I’m doing  is basically manually position everything the way I wanted it. When I render it, its perfect. But, as an experiment I decided to animate it by rotating it. The animation part worked, but in certain frames, I can see the “sign posts” through the billboard (but not on all frames). Also, on some frames I can see the logo extrusion from the back side.
So, my question is, how do I postition these items so they can’t be seen when they shouldn’t be?
Thanks a bunch.
Brian

You want the backboard to be the Parent of all the other objects, so that when you move the backboard, everthing else is ‘attached’

shift-select everything except the backboard, then shift-select the backboard, then press Ctrl-P. see http://wiki.blender.org/index.php/Manual/Groups_and_Parenting
