Hi All,
Stayed up way too late last night finishing this for my son. It’s just a one evening project.
Used a batman logo font for the logo. Fracture cell and rigid body for the fracture. Blender modeled, and composite.

Amazing!
The idea is so cool! But, honestly I think it is oversaturated. I mean, the contrast between the logo and the background is so obvious, that is quite irritaiting for the eye. You could try reducing the saturation, trying to use mid-tones (not so dark blue).
Thank you
Yeah I got carried away with the compositor… a little… lol Got to an almost 3d look… and my son liked it so I left as was.
Interestingly enough I’m not using any saturation nodes.
The blue is a emission material so I could go lighter with it, but then the orange/copper background won’t go as well. The background is actually a copper looking reflective material reflecting a HDRI environment. then it has a deform modifier using the same texture. The logo is very high poly using the re-mesh modifier. I’ll dink around with it to make it easier on the eyes and re-post… although not sure I can post different versions in the finished project forum?
I’ve also noticed it looks very different on different monitors. here at work it looks much darker then at home. I can’t even really make out the scratches that I can see in the logo at home.
