Certainly one of the very-strangest persons I ever met, while doing a short contract project at Apple, was a man who was utterly obsessed with “Burning Man.”

Many years later, in of all places Chattanooga, Tennessee, an outdoor festival was held which featured the burning of a large humanoid figure … thanks to an abundance of magnesium squibs.
