Beast of Blackpool

This is a project I did for a competition over at Psionic’s Forums. The whole thing is rendered in Blender internal. I did the tentacles ‘straight’ and used a lattice to deform copies of them. The eye beams are done with volumetric spots. The eyes themselves are halo effects.

The moon is a uv mapped circle with an emit value on it.

I agree, the materials could use a little more work, the scene is pretty cool though.
