I don’t think the wood texture on the armchair is right. Wooden things are not made this way usually. Even if the wood is joint and sanded seamlessly, the grain direction still differ on separate parts:
I believe the way you visualise it would be harder to manufacture, but not only that, it would also be way weaker and could even break.
Beanbags are also usually not made out of single piece of fabric. They will have seams and the direction of fabric texture will not stretch that much:
