Bedroom

This bedroom is my 2nd design using blender and as always i try to achieve a photorealistic render. Looking for any tips that may help me reach my goal if not reached already.

Maybe try using more different color on the furniture. To me it looks like the furniture and walls are made from the same material whis is kind off odd. But otherwise great render

Pay attention on details:

  • Objects Scale / UV maps
  • Geometry (example intersectingcurtain)
  • Materials (trash them all and start again by reading some tutorials)
  • Light (Daylight HDR and a red-pink sun??)
Learn and use filmic_blender if you can, so to not have those ultra saturated highlights.

BTW this floor really sucks bad, it looks out of scale, ultra shining, weirdly bumpy and very dirty.

Oh I forgot… is this yafaray?

Thank you and I will take note to your advice.
PS. The walls and the the furniture are different materials…lol…guess I will have to look for a new material for the furniture

Thank you for your critique, it was greatly appreciated but as to your comment on the floor looking dirty; which it is, in the real world nothing is perfectly clean so I just added some residue due to wiping and dust.

Also, to your question, I used cycles.
