Musicians are born in many places…including basements.[/i]

i like the poster on the wall

Alltaken

I think the poster’s just stretched out a little too much

i didnt notice any cell shading :expressionless:

Skeletor…read it again. “this is my first work with no cel shading” If you expected to see cel shading because of that statement, you either need your eyes checked or don’t speak english lol.

Perhaps if that poster weren’t stretched horizontally it would look better?

And your lighting needs to be adjusted to both cast more shadows and account for the light from the TV. Right now the scene looks as though its lit too evenly. Try tweaking that.

Jeeves- I forgot the poster, but I’ll fix that tomorrow. By the way, which one were you referring to?

Desoto- I tweaked the lightning, just like you said…and I believe it looks better.

Also, I changed his pose, since it didn’t really look like he was into the music. Oh, and the TV pic was getting annoying…

I was told to add some random crap, to make it seem more “homely”. Any ideas?

haha, sorry, im just dumb

Im with you. I like the poster

Yeah yeah…I said that I this would be my first work without cel-shading…But I couldn’t help it!

PS- I also updated the non-cel shaded pic.

It looks cool both ways. Nice shading.

Compare your character with the manga render on the wall. The manga render is toon shaded. Your character isn’t. I also just wanted to ask what gender the person is.

It’s a guy…Does he look girlish? If so, please give me an idea of how to fix that.

Also, it looks toon-shaded to me. Mind telling me why you say that it isn’t? If it has to do with the edges, the problem lies within Blender itself.
