it’s cause youtube has so many videos, i mean EVERYBODY uploads to youtube:no:
and i used to agree, but after this whole conversion mess i’m not so sure lol:confused:
Your nick reminded me of Jonathan Coulton :-)… I like fantasy things, will check the video once it’s converted.
Vimeo has better quality and faster loading times (considering the better quality). But since youtube has HD feature now I see no problem there… I noticed that vimeo is used by graphicians mostly, don’t know if there’s something that pulls artists towards it .
But what I really hate about vimeo is the fact, that you’re unable to jump forward wherever it isn’t loaded yet. But I guess that this is just minor flaw… It’s probably better for server bandwidth, since it doesn’t have to respond to jumps in streaming.
Actually, it is indeed visible to anyone according to the settings in “privacy”, if I’m logged in it says that it is still waiting to convert, otherwise it tells me it’s private! Vimeo is driving me crazy…
What I don’t like about Youtube is they automatically mute your audio if they even “think” you used copyrighted music, at least Vimeo doesn’t do that. Therefore, I recommend this website:http://www.cntianhonglaser.com
