Beginner UV Unwrap Question

Hi! Thanks for reading. I was hoping someone could give me a quick hint as to why my texture is doing this on my model when I Smart UV Unwrap it. I started by just scaling a cube and then I applied the rotation and scale, then did the Smart UV Unwrap. Why is it rotated and stretched? And why do the faces on the UV not match the same size ratio as the 3D model? Thanks! :slight_smile:

Is it ? No blend file (including texture) supplied in your post. Why not ? An example blend file should be supplied WITH ALL support questions. Please do so
