Hello All,
After I followed this wonderful easy to follow tutorial:
I Have A Few Questions:
1. After my Bendy Bone is ready to use with 3 parts like in the tutorial.
How can I create a Controller for each part: Head and Tail ?
- Is it possible only with Empties? because I want a specific shape in a specific place.
If somebody will be kind toe explain or even better… show in a short video so it will be easy to follow the steps?
Thanks ahead and sorry about my bad English.
OK so what you do is this:
Create your shape anywhere you like - I used a circle above.
Add a Child Of constraint to the bone at the top - “tail” in my example.
Set the target to the shape - “circle” in my example.
Move/rotate the “circle” and the “tail” bone follows what you do with the “circle” and the bendy bone behaves as it should.
You may notice that the bone moves when you add the Child Of and set the target- just click the “Set Inverse” button to correct this.
Repeat for the “head” bone.
Cheers, Clock. :eyebrowlift:
PS. Your English was perfectly understandable…
OR you can do it like this if you don’t want the bones to rotate about the centre of your shapes:
Add a Copy Location constraint with “Offset” checked. Note the bone is in Pose Space.
Add a Transform constraint to get the rotation as I have set up above.
Here’s the blend file: bendy-bone.blend (475 KB) with both options.
Cheers, Clock.

Thank you very much!
I used the first method, it was easy to follow thanks to your clear detailed explanation and the screenshots helped as well!
I Have some more rigging questions but I better open a thread since it’s not related to controllers.
