Here is a short animation of berries dropping into a yogurt pot. This was my first experimentation with liquid Fluid simulation. It was pretty grueling to be honest (simulating the fluid). I really hope they can improve the performance of fluid calculations in future!
With a lot of time consuming processes in Blender you can reduce the quality to get to a rough idea of the results before committing to the more time consuming, full quality calculation. While you can do this with Manta flow Fluid simulation, I found the results to change too much, meaning to get an accurate picture of the final result I had to calculate at full quality for each test. Very time consuming!
In the end I was pretty happy with the result.
