I was hoping there might be someone who’s already done the hard yards and save me the time and tell me which Depth of Field plugin or code or external program gives the very best results that is currently available for use with Blender?
Search… It’s all over the forums.
Look for entries that refer to “Composite Nodes” There’s a new blur filter (2.44 I think) that handles depth of field nicely.

Yeah thanks Blenditall but I’ve searched, downloaded and tried nearly all the methods out there and I either haven’t been able to get them to work or they just don’t look anywhere near as good as all the sample pictures that come with them - hence this post.
