Hi, I got a problem getting a perfectly beveled cone tip…how can I do? I prefer to use a cylinder with the top radius scaled rather than a cone but the result is not good. I tried with “f” and “grid fill” to close the upper face and bevel edge weight, edge crease, etc. but the tip is not perfectly beveled…thanks.
Ok, I obtained a good tip with “control + B” only on the single circle top loop. But I got an artifact when using the subdivision surface modifier after the bevel. it’s better closing the last small face with “f” instead with “grid fill” but it makes not a good shade. How to close the last face in this case?..thanks.
Try adding a cone and pressing ctrl+shift+B with the tip selected
