BGE 2.56 - curved health bar animation problem

Hello,
I am trying to make curved health bar, which looks like this:

I tried to animate it with build modifier - keyframed Start property at frame 1 and frame 100. Then in logic bricks i have set things this way:


Changing health property didn’t change animation. I don’t know where is the problem.
Can it be done this way? Or i am doing it completely wrong?

you can use another method with colour, look it up using google:
curved temperature bar site:blenderartists.org/

Try using shape keys - make one key with the bar at the bottom, and another with the bar extended. Then, animate through them.
