New ray functions for all kinds of stuff. Hope Ben commits then right away. He mentions FPS examples, but this stuff can be useful for all sorts of things.

Hope there will be an example .blend using all the new stuff, and did I see the capability of any vector and see through objects?

a cool patch indeed, but I’ll prolly still be using rayCast() instead (you can choose where to fire from, you don’t need a ray sensor, etc. I believe it’s already been comitted…)
