I’ve seen some IRC rooms related to Blender in general, but are there any public text/voice chat rooms for Blender or BGE users to gather in and just chat? (Such as something like a Teamspeak server)
I think it would be fun and interesting for BGE users to get together and chat in real time about what they’re working on.
There is a #gameblender IRC channel on freenode.
That is the only official BGE game developer IRC channel I’ve seen.
What about one of those chats where they’re part of the forum like at the top of the page or they’re part of the webpage. Idk, what they’re called, but it’d more convenient for the non-IRC people.
There is also http://webchat.freenode.net for those who want a web based IRC client so as not to have to install one.
BTW Mahalin we have a Los Angeles chat channel #lablender on freenode ; )
Does anyone know of any chat groups/rooms that support voice chat? (obviously not IRC)
They probably won’t come cheap, but I suppose there’s always the possibility of a Skype group.
