BGL Samples for Blender 2.5?

Are there any examples that help in getting started with the bgl module? The old 2.49 examples don’t seem to translate.

Uncle Entity means something like this (Vista)
C:\Users\Peter\25Blender\blenderLatest\2.55\scripts emplates
_____________________^^^here blender.exe lives

(the space after scripts is from the forum read as scripts!)

I got what he meant. And I’m getting an intro to running modal to boot. This should be interesting.
