Big Bad Gun (Continued)

Here is my latest update on my gun scene. Any critic or advice is gladly welcome! give me all of your thoughts on my scene so that I can learn from you guys!

oooo pretty. Great composition with the warm interior light and the cold outdoor light in the window. The gun itself looks badass. However, I don’t see any shadows on the bullets…? They look like they could just be floating there…

Other than that, I think the thing that will really take this to the next level is some volumetrics. There are some epic tutorials for Volume Scatter out there that will totally elevate the cinematic quality of your this render. And maybe some roughness maps on the gun metal material would help blend it into the grunge of the obviously-worn wood backdrop…

I do have some volumetrics in it and it helped a ton! But I couldn’t get any of the really cool light Ray’s or streaks coming through it for some reason :thinking:
