In hindsight i probably should not have used Depth of Field in the render. Also note programs like Topaz AI Clear /AI Gigapixel work to reduce blur so negate the DOF effect as well as noise. Also AI Clear is fully adjustable. If you see differences in color vibrance, its because of the RGB color ga…

It depends on the image size only. That means, if it is split up into tiles, the memory requirement can be decreased.

But is it reliable in this kind of denoisers? What about stability/congruence between tiles?

One Frame from my Noise-Animation Test in FullHD: LordOdin 11,581 GB OIDN 2,272 GB So, the more Denoise nodes ( 6 pieces at LordOidin) I have, the higher the memory usage, the less geometry and textures I get into my memory.

Usually, it is best to have a few overlapping pixels. With those in place, you can expect the same results as with a large image.

How did you animate scene with OIDN?.Can you share LORD OIDN setup.

Any specific reason why the Normal nodes are not connected?

Oh, I hadn’t realized that. @NewVisitor , LordOdin forgot to connect Normal in the screenshot he had shared. Then he clarifies that this must be done. If possible, you update the file in that message with Normal connected. I have shared your message in another thread.

File is updated. If you include Normal and Albedo, it gets pretty tight with 16 GB RAM at a FullHD resolution. 1024x576 64 Samples Without Normal - 17sec - 2,105 GB [without-normal] With Normal - 17sec - 2,144 GB [with-normal] With Normal and Albedo - 17sec - 2,461 GB [with-normal-albedo…

With Normal it shows more detail in sphere, and with Albedo it seems to show more detail in the cube. I really don’t know the reason why LordOdin didn’t connect Albedo to his nodes. Perhaps because of a problem he was having and for which another user showed an alternative fix for it: https://deve…
