Here’s a problem that really, really needs a solution. Makehuman 0.9.1 RC1 can export a top-of-the-line mesh and rig to Blender, but in Linux there’s a python problem I (a designer, not a programmer) don’t know how to fix.
Here is what happens in Puppy 3.01 and Kubuntu 7.10:
ImportError: /usr/lib/python2.4/lib-dynload/pyexpat.so: undefined symbol: PyUnicodeUCS2_DecodeUTF8
It seems that this would be the forum for solving this problem. A character-creation plugin of the stature of Makehuman deserves Blender support, I would think.
