Yes, it is possible.
Put both object and lamp in the same layer, and activate the “Layer” option in the lamp settings.
Or
(Blender 2.43 needed)
Group the lamp(s) you want to light the object and fill the “GR:” field in the object’s material properties (Shaders panel). Press “Exclusive” button for lamp to affect just this material. It’ a per-material setting so, if you use it, fill the “GR:” field in all the materials of the object.
Or
(Blender 2.43 needed)
Put the objects in a renderlayer, and fill the “Light” field in RenderLayers panel, in F10, with the name of the group of lamps you want to use to light that renderlayer.
ahh… ok I´ve got it ! thank you very much
hmm, i grouped my lamps, but where do i find the groupname to fill in the “GR:” field?
where can i see wich lamps are grouped an wich are not etc…?
the grouped ones appear as green in the 3d viewport and if you select one of them and hit shift+g it will give an option to select all that is grouped together with the selection, the name of the group you will find at F7(objects)>objects and links tab, hope it helps.
I thank you!
however I have some bad news, the project i was working on (a bathroom) doesn’t excist anymore.
They broke into my house fridaynight and stole my computer and external hard drive.
I lost everything, every photoalbum of the last 5 years. every blender file I was working on and even al of my finished renders.
I was going to post al of my finished works here on the forum this week (i have been visiting the forum for a long time but never posted, sorry for that). I will probably retrieve some renders from myself that i had send to a friend, i will post them when i can.
