I’m currently working on a pair of binoculars I have on my desk that will be part of a larger scene I’m planning (I’m not sure exactly, maybe a captain’s or an ornithologist’s desk with the appropriate additional objects.

I will be using HDR on this project and you can see the setup is already done and a temporary background and lighting is in place

The modeling is about done, and I’ll be doing the UVmap in a moment and then paint the color and bump map.

Nice! But it’s hard to see, maybe turn up the lights slightly?

Good start, should be great in the end :slight_smile:

Are you going to make a compass or something?

I like perple because it exists at both ends of the spectum that humans can see at once.
