Just a neat little idea I thought of.
Will add some leaves, as soon as I can get my head around alpha mapping/shading etc.
Maybe some grass too, around the dirt to make it feel more organic.
Also, I’ve only been using Blender for four days now so expect the worst. :eyebrowlift:

Only using for four days?! You’re already better than most new people. Anyways looking good. Did you do the tree with the tree sapling addon? Cause if n othan you hsould really try it. Good luck.

If you’re rendering using cycles, maybe the leaves (whenever you add them) could be a very bright green with an emission shader. Thus the bulb “lighting up” with a new idea? Perhaps you already planned that. Regardless, it looks good!

TheNewGuy I didn’t use the sapling add-on but I did use some software (I think it’s called ‘tree [d]’) to make the branches (cheating maybe, but if the results are exactly the same and faster than hand-making, then who cares? 
) , but I definitely will be using the add-on in the future! Thanks for showing it to me!
Oh and SkyWolfBlue that is an awesome idea! I definitely will try experimenting with that soon!
I might be some time in finishing this, I’ve got to gear up for all my school summer exams (sigh, I’m just looking forward to being spat out of the education system so I can focus on turning these experiences into a hopeful Design/3D modelling career in the future!) but yeah, that should be fun.
I’ve always enjoyed Digital Art & Design, mostly down to the fact I can’t draw to save my life, so it acts as a nice alternative to sketching.
Anyway, thanks for the comments! It gives me a lot of confidence to help me begin to grasp this great tool!
