Found the file i thought id lost 
So i guess i can work on again but fell is finished
Used ripstings fiberscript and built everything else in Blender.
Render took about 10-13 mins

I just started working with the fiber script again (before even reading your post) today and I hope to apply it to a seen as good as yours

Whoops thats true i coulda.
But I started at the start of last week. Wait but that was just trying to get the grass to work without overloads. House was made friday night.

hurm, the house/ground intersection could be MUCH better. The lighting could use some tweaking…and why does the grass look to be about hip level and why does it drop off so fast (tall -> nothing) everywhere?
Is that tree to the left growing out of a rock?
Anyway, pretty good shot, much work to be done if you want it to look realistic (which is the angle that I always look at things from, to make it as realistic as possible)
