Black Lines Appear on Texture Painted Object Only in Final Render

I’ve got a problem with terrain that I textured in Texture Paint. When I view it in Material Preview or Render Preview, it looks fine, but when I do a full render, black lines appear on the terrain like so:

The UV map was generated with Smart UV Project, and it is broken into a few pieces in that area, but looking at the UV projection overlaid on the texture, it seems like the bleed is always over the edge of the boundary. Any idea what could be going wrong?

Turns out the culprit was the Subsurface modifier, which had been set to 0 subdivisions for preview but 2 for the render. Didn’t know it could cause sections of the texture adjacent but not covered by the UV map to appear in the render. Increasing the Bleed value seems to help.
