black spots on baked texture


I have a pretty bad issue, need to bake some textures(combined) onto object that has some pretty thin meshes close to each other and baking is giving me a lot black spots on the texture.

I tried different margin values (0, 3, 16) doesn’t seem to help.

It’s a decimated cad mesh and I cannot edit it in any way.

I’m only allowed to decimate and texture it.

Is there some fix for this?

make sure the uv map is still proper after applying your modifiers.

So there were some issues with uv i was able to fix. However even with proper uv there was some weird artifacts. I tried to get the mesh to max and bake beauty pass/combined and everything worked flawlessly.
