Can’t find this option in the new UI. Is it gone completely, always on or just hidden very well ? A quick look at the code makes me think its gone AWOL for the moment.

it was a publisher feature, which require the file be signed (or locked)
(besides compressing the file makes saving slower)
I’m not sure what happened with the feature, but z3r0 d is right, it made saving and loading slower. If you need to compress you files, you might has well use a 3rd party application.

Yeah, I knew it made things slower and broke your ability to use the file as a library, but it was convenient sometimes to have the file compressed. Not a big deal to me, I had just looked for it several times since the new UI came into being and never found it.
Checking in the code made it pretty apparent that it wasn’t implemented any more at all and I wasn’t sure if this was on purpose, I missed something or just another not often used feature that didn’t make it into the new UI.
