Is it possible to convert (or export) my .blend files to a format that 3D Studio Max can read?
Yeah save your scene as a .DXF file from the file menu in Blender. Then import this .DXF file into Max.
I find this is the easiest method, but you might want to do a search here at elYsiun for the 3dS format export scripts if you want UV data exported with your scene.
Make sure you use CTRL A in Blender before exporting, to apply size/rot to all objects in your scene, otherwise Max will interpret their position incorrectly. I tend not to use the weld function in Max when importing, as this can leave a messy mesh.
