Blended Horizon?

Allright, i was working on a game and making a skybox and I didnt like that ugly seam inbetween the sky and the grass, i read about a technique called a “Fog band” where you could put a band of fog around the horizon to blend the sky with the land. I’m not sure if I explained that right but here’s where I got it.

does anyone know how to do something similar like this in blender?

maybe you could try to use some sort of ring of half transparent faces at the horizon…?
