If I have downloaded that blender 2.41 does it have all the libraries with it? I just got a copy of the Blender 2.3 Guide book and it lists libraries that I will need but it says if you have downloaded from the source. Not quite sure what is meant by this.

You don’t need any libraries, if you don’t want to compile blender. Simply start the executable.
