Blender 2.42. No Scripts?

Hi there,

I have Blender 2.42 and Python 2.4 installed.

In the Noob to Pro tutorials they give the instruction: “Click on the menu titled Scripts, and go to Scripts->System->Interactive Console”.

However if I go to this meny all the options are empty.

Could someone please help me understand what I am missing or doing wrong?

thank you for your time,
Derrick van Niekerk

Thanks,
Derrick

What opperating system are you running?

Try: start blender. Split default 3d view in the middle vertically. Click icon at bottom left of viewport and choose “scripts window”. At the bottom of this window, click on the menu titled Scripts and select topmost choice “Update Menus”. Then click on the menu titled Scripts, and go to Scripts->System->Interactive Console.

Hi there,

I have Win XP SP2, After no luck with that I uninstalled blender, and re installed it. Viola, the scripts were there.

Thanks very much for helping easybreasy.
