Question for linux-users
I use Blender 2.45 on gentoo x86.
It is no problem to make a animation (AVIraw, Quicktime etc).
But when I want to play the animation, the animation-screen give al sort of lines.
In the render-folder the movies are really there and playable with Mplayer.
The same problem occurs with the videosequencer.
What could be the problem.

I think it’s related to ffmpeg, but I’ve tried building blender with multiple ffmpeg versions with no change, so I’m not sure how.
No one here seemed to have any idea either…
I have Looked at your thread. It is the same problem.
I hope developers will find a solution
