Blender 2.49 Script Error

I recieved same error as in here: http://fedoraforum.org/forum/showthread.php?t=246482

I’m using Blender 2.49 and Python 2.6.1
I tried to run script with python 2.5 but it does not work either.
Why?

The API’s are not compatible.

All scripts written for 2.49 will not work in 2.5. They all have to be re-written.

2.5 is version of python :yes:(2.54)
