Blender 2.49a For Intel Macs

Hello. I was looking at the blender.org site and noticed that Blender 2.49a apparently has fixes for crashes with GMA 950 cards. I happen to have one of these in my Macbook, and when I run any version of Blender for more than around two minutes, it crashes with graphical glitches.

So I thought I’d try this new intel Blender 2.49a. But to my horror I realized that the site still only has Blender 2.49 for intel Macs. Every other version has been updated but this one.

So what’s going on? Will it ever be updated before 2.5 comes out? According to the release log there have been a number of changes I desperately need.

Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this. Thanks,

SpewBoy

It seams, there is a bit of confusion on the blender OSX downloadsection at the moment.

Only the Top link is 2.49
The links underneath are leading to 2.49a versions for OSX 10.4 and 10.5.

If you’re looking for a python 2.5 version for OSX 10.4 Tiger, there is one at graphicall:
