Blender 2.5 Auto IK

i cant find auto IK in blender 2,5 can somone plz tell me where it is T_T
i got my person rigged but just cant Auto IK

Select your Armature, press T ( the tool shelf will show on your left side ) scroll and check the Auto-IK check box.

I did this, but am not getting standard IK results (at least how it looked in 2.49) Are there any other steps, or are there different IK controls in 2.5?
