Blender 2.5 curved surfaces don't work?

What is this? I don’t even…



Basically I just took a circle and i extruded it.
Somehow it’s not rendering every side or something

But when i fully render it it looks perfect

Now since the full render is intact you might say that there is no problem but it gets pretty annoying when lighting scenes that you can not see the entire model.

Select all in edit mode and use Ctrl+N to recalculate the normals. Textured only shows the face pointing in the normal direction.
