Blender 2.5: Mesh skinning.

Is mesh skinning already included in 2.5? I can’t find it.

(in 2.4x is FKEY in edit mode and then option “Skin Faces/Edge loops” from the menu)

It was in! … it had a few bugs… it got removed… the bug reports got closed… now we don’t have the feature… like most modelling stuff I guess ut’s on permanent hold until the bmesh system comes to trunk…

How do you remove and add weighted areas, if you use teh auto weighting? I want to tweak the results I got from parenting the object to the armature.

When I try to do either of these, nothing happens.
