I have a very simple mesh and armature set up, so I can practice making walk cycles and other movements. However, i run into a problem when I start to weight paint. I first started to weight paint the head, and I moved the head around to make sure I got everything. When moving it around, only parts of my mesh moved with the bone and not everything I painted. Confused I got rid of my paint and just moved the bone around, and the same parts of the mesh moved and didn’t move. Moving other parts of the body around did similar things, even though they aren’t weight painted. Could someone tell me what I’m doing wrong, or what’s going on?
Also, I’m sorry if this is in the wrong posting section. I didn’t know what section weight paint went in, so I decided to put it here. There is also another post just like this one in the animating section, sorry to have two of the same posts up, but I couldn’t find how to delete the old message, and I wasn’t getting any help there.
