Blender 2.54 does not work on my laptop

Hello,

Blender 2.54 does not work on my laptop. After 30 seconds of waiting I can see the interface but blender is extremely slow and “not responding”. It is not possible to work with !!! :mad:

I do not understand why because Blender 2.49b works wonderfully. :confused:

My configuration:

  • Windows 7
  • 2 GiB Ram
  • ATI X1400 (I installed the drivers for Vista because there is no driver for windows 7)

The game Warcraft 3 works without problems. Same for Urban Terror.

Would you have an idea?

A slow interface or drawing is usually a driver issue. Try changing the draw methods in the User preferences / System to see if that helps.
Having some games work ok doesn’t neccessarily mean that everything will also work.
