Hello, everyone. I have this problem with version 2.54 beta; sometimes, after I close out another window, then the main blender window locks up, and no matter what I do, I can’t click on anything in the window. I’ve made sure that this window is my active window, but it’s still not working. So then I’m forced to close the window from the control panel. According to the task manager, blender is still responding, too. Does somebody know what’s wrong? It doesn’t do this in 2.53.
I’ve been seeing this too. I thought the prob was coming and going with each new release (cog’s releases) but I was only closing a new render window. Now that I’ve checked I see the problem has been consistent through all builds when closing a panel window.
Console: It goes into a loop saying “error: image too small”
Anyone know if this is a known (reported) bug?

Looks like 2 reports may be the same bug we are seeing. I’ll make an info comment on the 23223 report.

Thanks! It happens a lot when I close the render window, too. The blender Console on my computer also says ‘Error: image too small’, and I have Windows 7. Thanks again for telling me this 
I guess until that’s fixed I’ll either use version 2.53, or just render in the image editor in 2.54.
I just Esc out of the render window instead of closing it. Don’t know about panel windows. I think it works if I’ve clicked in the window before closing it. Not sure about that I’m outta time this eve…
(Rant to nobody in particular):
…and for cryin’ out loud what’s with that clunky report commenting interface. Text window does nothing… little java window disappears when I input text with the OK… no feedback, my comment doesn’t show when I refresh the page. Did it take, or did it not?
What a PITA. I’ll just open a new report. (sheesh). :rolleyes:

Btw to the devs: Thanks for all the hard work. I’ve been rigging / animating in 2.5x the past 2 weeks and wow, bugs and all, this thing is fantastic. I love it. Well done!
