Hello Bhlove ! I suggest you try downloading an installing again 
And try to get the correct version for you operating system.
I think this has something to do with Microsoft Visual C++ redistributable.
I have 2005 and 2008 installed. Check that out.

i tried 2.4 - 2.54 and now 2.55
all of them now dont work

If so you can try a system restore to a point where they worked and try it then.

Could you tell us which version of Windows you’re using? That would help a lot.
I was having the same issue and, in my case, I fixed it be renaming the folder Blender was in.
I run Windows 7 64-bit and have a special folder I’ve created in C:\Users\Public\Applications for when I’m installing anything directly from a ZIP file (or anything that’s old). I had put v2.55 of Blender into: C:\Users\Public\Applications\Blender 2.55β
When I renamed the folder to: C:\Users\Public\Applications\Blender 2.55 (I took off the beta symbol), it worked just fine. I suggest you check to see if you have any non-ASCII symbols in the path where Blender is installed.
