Blender 2.56 Material Node ingame Property Value link/driver?

I’m not sure if I’ve misunderstood drivers somehow, but I should be able to achieve something to this effect if I understood them correctly

Well, regardless of the method, I’m trying to get an ingame property into the node editor, is it possible with a python script or drivers? It’d be lovely if I just knew how to write GLSL shaders in python, but I don’t, so this is something in the meantime :stuck_out_tongue:

It would achieve so much, the ability to animate node materials in so many ways, or make them dynamic based on what’s happening in the game

Any help would be appreciated

Bump…

Anyone got an idea on this yet, I am actually looking for the exact same thing. I would like to change my node material with an object property or something.
