Blender 2.57 - Text

When I Add>Text in Blender 2.57, and then try to switch to Edit Mode so that I can edit the text, Blender crashes. Is there a different way of editing text in 2.57 than in previous versions of Blender?

I upgraded to Blender 2.57b, and this solved the problem. :slight_smile:

No there isn’t. What GPU do you have?

Check the draw method in your user prefs - see if changing to Overlap or Full helps keep Blender from choking on the operation.
