Blender 2.57 Texture Painting Margin Size

Is it possible, when texture painting, to increase the margin size, so during the process, the texture map that is being painted on paints the texture even larger than the UV? As in, when you bake a texture, there’s always the margin size that bakes the model a certain number of pixels larger than the UV. Pretty much I’m just asking if you have the same sort of option in blender 2.57 when texture painting.
