Blender 2.66 Rigid Body Simulation Active object as rigid body sub-step

How will I increase the sub-step of the world in blender renderer as it were in blender game engine? Because the little piece of active rigid body fell through the plane after I fracture it.

In the Scene settings there is a panel for ‘Rigid Body World’ with has options to give more accurate simulations. Read the tool tips for each setting
