I could be completely wrong in this but is it not possible in blender to scale a selection of verticies along a specific axis to zro by pressing s --> (x,y,z) --> 0 which would align those verticies to the axis selected?
This is not working for me currently and I am not sure if it isn’t working because it never has and I have rememebered that incorrectly or whether I have something locked somewhere that is preventing it.
S X 0 would scale the selected along the X axis towards the current pivot point. The location of the pivot point is determined by what option you selected from the 3d view header.
By default the pivot point is at the median point of your selection.
This is not working for me currently
What does this mean ? What is it doing ?

Thankyou for your help. I was indeed wrong. I needed to change the pivot point to the 3d cursor and make sure it was set to the origin point. I was then able to line the selected points up along the axis.
I’m just getting back to using blender again after some time away from it. Again thanks for your help.
