Blender 2.73a Stop two hotkeys from activating at same time

Hi

I just downloaded blender 2.73a official and it looks like there were some changes to the way hotkeys are set up.

In pre-2.73 builds I used to be able to get the cursor to 0,0,0 with an altered hotkey Shift + C, and I could later center viewport to the cursor with C.

Is there a way to do this in 2.73a? I’ve been at this for hours and haven’t found a way to do it, the only available keybind to center cursor to 0,0,0 is by default Shift C, and it puts cursor to 0,0,0, but also centers the viewport at the same time since C is set to put viewport on the cursor. So I press Shift C, it does the hotkey to move cursor to center, but also thinks I pressed C without the shift, and centers viewport as well.

I have tried importing key config from my other version, it did not solve the issue.

Any suggestions?

Is there a way to make a hotkey only work if no other key is pressed at the same time?

Thanks

Well, there’s always Shift+S > Cursor to Center.

What was the last version you were using? You said that you’re used to the C-key as “Center View to Cursor” - hasn’t that key always been “Circle Select”? I know “Center View to Cursor” as Alt+Home?

I changed C from circle select to center to cursor ever since I switched from 2.49 to 2.5+ builds, since C used to be center view to cursor and shift C for 0,0,0 cursor pre-2.5.

The last version I used was a 2.72b build and it was able to solve the issue with C and shift C, however I need the latest version and I can’t get the hotkeys to work independently.

I know you can shift-S, I’d much prefer to not have to change my method as I’ve gotten very used to Shift C and C
